Beyond Diversity: Creating Inclusive Tech Workplaces

In this event hosted by TechInColour, speakers will give different perspectives on how to make tech workplaces more inclusive beyond just having a diverse team. The panel is made up of Lydia Prince, Front End Developer and Freelancer; Manpreet Dhillon, Human Resources Consultant at Veza Community; and Rachel Ho, Product Marketing Manager at SAP. The panel will be moderated by Aheri Stanford-Asiyo, Software Engineer at Experience Studio North (Microsoft).

TechInColour is a tech community hub that aims to empower and create spaces for, and centering, Black, Indigenous and people of colour. (BIPoC) They use inclusive organizing strategies and tailored event programming to create and cultivate spaces where people of colour in the tech industry are visible and/or centered.
