JUST FUTURES: SYSTEMIC ANTI-RACISM AND YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH

This informal session will include a 25-minute presentation on the topic of systemic racism in the Canadian healthcare system and its implications for youth mental health. The presentation will outline historical and ongoing inequities experienced by Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities in Canada, drawing on the speaker’s program of research. The presentation will be followed by conversation on how to mobilize action toward equity, anti-racism, and just futures for all youth.
