SFU Ceremonies & Events

Welcome to SFU Ceremonies & Events

The Ceremonies and Events Office manages and produces Simon Fraser University’s ceremonial, social, fundraising and special events, maintains SFU’s traditions and protocol, and portrays the best possible image of the University to the external community. It is the main office responsible for Spring and Fall Convocation ceremonies, working very closely with other units on campus to create SFU’s memorable and unique graduation event. The Office coordinates many other events throughout the year, primarily for the President’s Office, University Advancement and Alumni Relations.
