SFU School of Environmental Science is excited to announce the Spring 2022 Environmental Science Capstone Project Presentations Event.

Please join us online on Wednesday, April 6th, 2022at 8:30 AM via Zoom to learn about Environmental Science students' research on green spaces and biodiversity in the urban environment!

About the Event:

Environmental Science Capstone Project presentations are part of an Environmental Science final year EVSC 400 course. All the projects revolve around green spaces and biodiversity in an urban environment. The projects are completed in collaboration with the City of Vancouver Green Infrastructure Implementation and City Studio.

About the Presentations:

The student project presentations will be broken down into 5 groups. 2 of the groups will showcase their project on developing a methodology or site assessment tool to quantify the extent to which the green infrastructure supports biodiversity in Vancouver. The remaining groups will provide design suggestions, improvements, and best practice guidelines for existing and future green spaces to support biodiversity in Vancouver.

This is a perfect opportunity to network and learn about sustainability and education at SFU School of Environmental Science!
