Gabrielle Wong wins First Prize in 2023 Student Learning Commons Writing Contest

We are thrilled to announce that Gabrielle Wong, a Human Geography Honours student, has been selected to receive First Prize in the Fourth Year+ category of the 2023 Student Learning Commons writing contest for the paper "Placemaking or placekeeping? The dual role of the arts in the gentrification of Manhattan’s Chinatown."

First Prize in the contest comes with a $200 award, certificate, and publication in the next issue of the writing contest open journal.
