Online Registration

With Continuing Studies’ online registration system you can get the most up-to-date course information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Search by course or program, then register using secure credit card processing and receive instant confirmation. Gain access to real-time information about available seats and retrieve your grades, course history, and other information at any time, anywhere you have an Internet connection.

Select course(s) and add course(s) to cart

Go to and view the Course Catalogue, then select an area of study to view the list of available courses.

 Select a course to review more details.

To register in this course, click on a "Section" link.

On the next page, you can select "Add to Cart" to proceed to checkout.

NB: The online system lists Courses as "Sections" and these are grouped into subject-matter-oriented "Catalogues."

Log into SFU Continuing Studies account

Once you have reviewed the contents of your cart, and have clicked on the "Check Out" button, you will go to the Checkout Page.

If you have not already logged in, you will be asked to sign in to your SFU Continuing Studies Account.

  • enter your email address
  • enter your password

If you do not have an account, we’ll ask you to create a simple profile where you’ll set your email address login and a password of your choice.

Click "Create a Student Account" and fill out the Profile page.

NB: The Secret Question/Answer provides a second level of security beyond your password: it's a backup password.

Select a question that doesn't have an obvious answer but one that you can easily remember. If you forget your password, the secret question/answer combination can help us verify your identity.

After you have successfully created your Profile, you will receive a confirmation and be able to proceed by clicking "Go to login."

After logging in, you will be taken to the Course Catalogue page.

Select the course(s) you would like to register for and "Add to Cart." Once you have items in your cart, they will appear on the right in a box where you can opt to either "View Cart" or "Check Out."

If you select "Check Out" you will be required to complete your information before getting back to your cart.

Checkout and pay for registration

Here you have another opportunity to review the contents of your cart and make changes, such as:

  • Removing sections
  • Entering Promotion Codes

After reviewing the contents proceed to the Payment Page by:

  • Agreeing to the terms and conditions of the cancellation/refund policy by selecting the checkbox
  • Clicking on the "Make Payment" button

You will then be forwarded to Moneris’ secure Online Payment page, where you’ll enter your credit card details.

After you have processed your transaction we will send you an email Registration Confirmation. We will also send a separate email Payment Receipt.
