Claire Chang

Claire Chang is a certified translator and court interpreter with the Society of Translators and Interpreters of BC (STIBC) and is also a practicing lawyer in B.C.

She grew up in Taiwan and obtained her bachelor of science in chemistry from National Tsing Hua University. Following her passion in language, she went to the U.K. to pursue education in interpreting and translating at the University of Bath, where she obtained her master’s degree.

Claire then spent eight years in Hong Kong, working with several top-tier law firms in the area of patent prosecution while obtaining her bachelor of laws.

After moving to Canada, she was called to the bar in B.C. and started practicing law in the areas of real estate, commercial law, and wills and estate. In the meantime, she was certified as a Chinese-to-English translator and court interpreter. Claire is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
