Leanne Cheng

Leanne Peterson-Cheng, Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)/Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), is a recognized expert in enterprise risk management (ERM). She has a strong background in operational risk, finance and accounting. As a partner at BlueShift Advisory and a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, she has significantly contributed to the field of risk management. 

Her experience at HSBC as the head of financial reporting for risk and as finance chief control officer involved implementing comprehensive risk controls and enhancing financial and regulatory reporting mechanisms. She also acted as the bank’s finance risk steward.

Her tenure at Deloitte demonstrated her deep expertise in ERM, as she provided strategic risk management solutions to a diverse range of clients. Leanne also played pivotal roles in shaping the ERM and regulatory compliance frameworks at Metrie and QuadReal Property Group, focusing on risk identification, assessment, the development of effective risk mitigation strategies and risk monitoring.
