Adriana Laurent

Born and raised in Central America, Adriana Laurent brings a global perspective and deep commitment to social and environmental change to everything she does. After moving to Vancouver, she earned her honors degree in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems at the University of British Columbia, where she co-founded the UBC Climate Hub—a collaborative initiative dedicated to driving meaningful climate action.

Adriana’s career reflects her passion for climate justice, equity and public service. She has worked as a digital campaigner for a national non-profit, supported community granting programs with the Vancouver Foundation and served as an equity and inclusion strategist at a local consulting firm.

Currently, she is the senior social planner in equity, accountability and systems at the City of Vancouver in the Planning, Urban Design and Sustainability department, where she focuses on embedding equity and reconciliation into urban policy through innovative and relationship-driven approaches.
