Miley Leong 梁伟祺 (she/her) is an engagement strategist and facilitator committed to creating spaces where dialogue and learning can meaningfully shape systems and contribute to transformative change. Born in Malaysia, Miley is a Hakka Chinese immigrant-settler committed to working in service of communities she’s a part of as well as communities she seeks to be in relationship with.

Drawing on experience both within and outside of institutions, Miley brings deep expertise in building organizational capacity for meaningful public engagement across the public and non-profit sectors. Her work has included leading innovative youth engagement initiatives at national and local levels, providing strategic advice on policy and public engagement with the BC Office of the Human Rights Commissioner and facilitating transformative accountability processes at Salal Sexual Assault Support Centre. 

Miley brings over 10 years of leading equity-centred processes on a wide range of issues, including climate justice, gender-based violence and civic engagement.
