Christina Myers is a writer, editor and former journalist. Her work has been widely published in magazines, newspapers, anthologies and online, garnering a number of journalism and literary awards over the years.
Her most recent book, Halfway Home: Thoughts from Midlife (House of Anansi, 2024) was a finalist for the SCWES book awards and was named in 49th Shelf's 2024 most anticipated list. Her novel The List of Last Chances (Caitlin Press, 2021) was longlisted for the Leacock Medal, shortlisted for the Fred Kerner Book Prize, and won the fiction category in the Canadian Book Club Awards. She was the editor of the award-winning non-fiction anthology BIG: Stories About Life in Plus-Sized Bodies (2020) and she has another anthology forthcoming in fall 2025 with co-editor Oga Nwobosi. She is currently at work on both fiction and non-fiction projects.
Christina is also the co-organizer of the reading series Words in the Burbs and an alumnus of the Writer’s Studio at SFU.
