Alexandra Yallouz, MA, has been an educator and communications professional for over a decade, bringing a passion for creative thinking, social responsibility and fostering lifelong learning. Her diverse career spans teaching at post-secondary institutions, strategic communications leadership and curriculum development. Alexandra has designed and taught courses for various post-secondary institutions, blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on education and focusing on equipping students with industry-relevant skills.
Alexandra’s professional journey includes roles such as communications strategist for the North Vancouver RCMP and senior advisor at Palette Skills, where she crafted strategic initiatives, facilitated stakeholder engagement and led impactful communication projects. She has also managed marketing and communication strategies for organizations like the Okanagan Hockey Group and the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce.
With a master of arts in Communication and Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University, Alexandra has a strong research background in indexing, digital media, education and identity formation. Her expertise extends to managing teams, crisis communication, and audience engagement across sectors.
When not teaching or working, Alexandra is an avid outdoors enthusiast, a voracious reader and an amateur chef.
