All writers need the right tools, techniques and support to develop their work and build a career. Our programs take a holistic approach to mastering the craft of writing, blending dynamic curriculum with hands-on experience and a community where writers can grow together. All of our students have the opportunity to learn from a variety of award-winning authors.
The Writer’s Studio is a one-year, part-time creative writing program for writers who are ready to immerse themselves in a manuscript.
TWS Community Workshops are one-day sessions on the craft of writing and are organized by alumni of The Writer's Studio to support our writing community. All registration fees directly fund The Writer's Studio Scholarships.
There are currently no workshops scheduled.
The following creative writing courses begin in the next few months. Many other courses are also open for registration.

Register for a manuscript consultation with an instructor to receive feedback on your poetry, fiction or non-fiction. Consultations with critically acclaimed author Evelyn Lau are also available.
Our alumni have published dozens of books and other pieces.
Join us on the first Thursday of the month for the TWS Reading Series, or on the third Wednesday of the month for Lunch Poems.
