Professional Certification

CCDP^®

Our Career Development Practitioner Certificate program curriculum is aligned with the competencies outlined in the National Competency Profile for Career Development Professionals. Our program will support you in pursuing the new national CCDP^® (Certified Career Development Practitioner) designation.

The Career Development Practitioner Certificate program is an “approved certificate program equivalent to one year of working experience” towards National Career Development Certification (NCDC) program eligibility. For more information, please visit Career Certification, the recognized assessment agency that delivers the NCDC program. 

The Western Canada Career Development Association (WCCDA, formerly BCCDA) continues to support its provincial membership with networking events/conferences and professional development opportunities. 

VRAC/CVRP

Each course in this program except Practicum I is approved for continuing education credits from Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada (VRAC) and the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals (CVRP).
