In SFU’s part-time Rehabilitation and Disability Management Diploma, you'll learn about accommodations and working with employers to make appropriate and sensitive return-to-work (RTW) decisions. Through courses in rehabilitation, mental health issues, physical medicine and more, you'll learn to face these specific challenges: 

  • Accommodating people with disabilities in a unionized or non-unionized environment
  • Understand the role that medical, psychological and ergonomic assessments play in the return-to-work process
  • Working with an employer to apply the right assessments in the workplace

The program is designed for health care, human resources, counselling, career development, and social services professionals. You'll benefit from the experience of your classmates, who are also building their careers, as well as from the expertise of your instructors, who are rehabilitation and disability professionals.

Prepare to earn a professional designation

This professional diploma program meets the training requirements for a designation that will set you apart in the job market: Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP).
