Promoting Mental Health in Later Life: Mobilizing Knowledge Into Practice
Chairperson: Andrew Wister
This year’s conference, organized and hosted jointly with the BC Psychogeriatric Association and in cooperation with the SFU Continuing Studies Liberal Arts and Adults 55+ Program, focuses on promotion of mental health in later life. Our Keynote speaker, lecturers, expert panels and poster presentations will describe current trends and issues in policy, programs and services with special attention directed to mobilizing knowledge into practice. The objective of the conference is to provide information that will enable people aged 55+ to maximize their mental health and those who plan and provide services to assist them to do so in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
