The School for International Studies at Simon Fraser University (Vancouver campus) seeks an established scholar for a full-time, tenure track position at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor to fill the Simons Chair in International Law and Human Security, a position endowed by The Simons Foundation Canada. The chairholder will be expected to carry out a vigorous program of research and teaching focused on the nexus of international law and human security, broadly defined. The Chair is endowed with a research grant and a reduced teaching load of normally two courses per year.
The School for International Studies at Simon Fraser University (Vancouver campus) invites applications for a continuing research faculty position at the level of full professor or associate professor, to begin in July 2020. We are particularly interested in candidates with research that is grounded in one or more regions of the world. Applicants should have a PhD in a social science discipline, with demonstrated excellence in research and teaching. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven record of leadership and program administration.
