Dr. Vimal Nayan Pandey has completed his doctorate from the School of International Studies (SIS), where he developed strong academic training in international relations and security studies. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the University of Delhi. Earlier, he worked with the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), Sapru House, New Delhi, gaining valuable exposure to policy-oriented research and foreign policy analysis. Dr. Pandey’s areas of academic and research interest include India–Africa relations, African security, international security issues, global peace, and conflict resolution. His scholarly work also covers themes such as India’s engagement with African countries, global terrorism, India’s security policy, ethics in Indian tradition, and India’s peace tradition. He has published several research papers in reputed academic journals including Insight on Africa, World Affairs, India Quarterly, and the United Services Institution Journal, among others.
