Parking Citations

There is no free parking on the SFU Burnaby Campus; vehicles without a valid SFU parking permit must pay the daily parking rate either at the ticket vending machine, or through the Honk Contactless Parking system.

All parkers are responsible for reading and abiding by the Parking Regulations; Parking and Sustainable Mobility Services both tickets and impounds vehicles found to be parked in violation.

IMPOUNDS

Parking and Sustainable Mobility Services may wheel-lock and/or tow any vehicle at any time if it is deemed necessary.

If your vehicle has been impounded, payment must be made for all outstanding/issued fees. Vehicles impounded with a wheel blocking device are subject to tow away and impoundment without further notice, at an additional expense to the owner/operator.

Formal Appeals

Disputes which have been denied may be formally appealed once payment has been made.

This will be submitted to the Director, PSMS, and if further denied, to the PARCS committee for their review.

Surrey Campus

Citations are issued by a third-party provider operating for the Mall management company Blackwood Properties. Citation payment information is located on the physical parking ticket.
