SFU sustainable energy engineering announces new director pro tem

We are delighted to announce that professor of professional practice Zafar Adeel has agreed to serve as the director pro tem for the School of Sustainable Energy Engineering for a 2-year term, effective August 1, 2023.

Adeel brings a unique expertise that combines research leadership, private sector experience, and international leadership. His experience with strategic planning, leading transformation, and HR management will greatly benefit the school, and his vision for SEE aligns with the mission of the school, the Faculty of Applied Sciences, and SFU.

We thank SEE lecturer Mehran Ahmadi for stepping into the acting director role since July 2022.  He has navigated the school through this period of transition and we are grateful to him for his dedication to not just maintaining the status quo in SEE, but to furthering the goals and vision of the school during this period of uncertainty.
