The Canadian College of Health Leaders and AGE-WELL NCE are collaborating on a special edition of Healthcare Management Forum to be published in September of 2022 on the theme of Aging, Technology and Health in a Post-COVID World. SFU STAR Director Andrew Sixsmith is co-editor on the special edition and STAR is providing project management support. 

The aging of Canada's population coupled with the sharp focus that COVID-19 has brought to light the risks and challenges associated with the elderly aging in residential, community or home care settings creates an opportunity for health leaders, providers, innovators, and developers to double their efforts to identify how AgeTech can be mobilized to improve the health and quality of life of aging Canadians. The special edition will focus on Leveraging Technology to Improve the Health and Quality of Life of Older Adults.
