Abstract

The Centre for Educational Excellence will present an overview of the tailored support CEE can offer to support your teaching in different modalities. We will also provide strategies and discussion around key topics based on your survey responses:

              • Educational goals support and processes,

              • Teaching strategies for large upper division classes,

              • Navigating effective online assignments,

              • Scaffolding learning through word problems,

              • Managing student expectations, and

              • Design considerations for effective and efficient workshops.

We encourage you to bring examples of particular issues that emerge in your teaching practice so that CEE staff can continue to support the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science with tailored and specific resources.
