SFU offers a wide range of student services to support your academic and personal journey.

The International Services for Students (ISS) office provides non-academic advising and support on topics such as:

• Study permits and visas
• Work eligibility requirements
• Enrollment requirements for international students
• Medical insurance and the Canadian healthcare system
• Intercultural transition support
• Refugee and newcomer programs
• Exchange and study abroad 
• Referrals to other campus and community resources
