Caroline Andrewes, P.Eng, CPA, CMA is the President and CEO of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – BC (ACEC-BC). A registered Professional Engineer and Certified Professional Accountant, Caroline has more than two decades of experience with multi-national, high-tech companies with roles in engineering, finance, supply chain, corporate administration, and risk management. Most recently she was a Director with Creation Technologies, Chief Financial Officer for Ekona Power, and operated as an independent management consultant. 

An engaged professional, Caroline has been active in the regulation of professional engineers and geoscientists for more than 10-years. She was elected President, Engineers and Geoscientists BC in 2017, and continues to serve on the regulator's Council as Past President. 

Caroline holds a BESc in Materials Engineering from Western. She lives in Vancouver, and spends much of her time in the great outdoors with her husband and friends (her dog prefers the couch to the backcountry). She is an avid trail runner, cyclist, skier, and loves to cook. 

An innovative leader, Khristine Carino currently sits on the Board of the Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology (SCWIST). She leads the implementation of communication campaigns, social and digital media strategies as Director for Communications. Passionate about creating community impact, she is Founder and Program Director of East Van Kids STEAM, a volunteer-driven grassroots initiative providing free/low cost workshops for children in East Vancouver. Through Empower.Mom, another initiative, Khristine is keen on building a community of women sharing resources and support for mothers who want to transition to a career in STEM. 

Shaylene Dekock-Kruger is an electrical designer in BC Hydro's Substation Design department, which delivers safe and reliable substation designs for projects throughout the province.

Shaylene joined BC Hydro's renowned EIT program shortly after graduating, a program that allows new graduates to rotate through various departments within the company to gain experience in support of future registration as a P.Eng. 

A proud member of the Penticton Indian Band, Shaylene is actively involved in STEM outreach initiatives in local indigenous communities. Shaylene holds a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from UBC Okanagan and is a registered Engineer-in-Training in the province of British Columbia.

Jennifer Jakobi is the Associate Chair of WWEST at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan. Jenn is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Health and Exercise Sciences and Associate Dean Academic Programs and Planning for the Faculty of Health and Social Development. She specializes in exercise neuroscience. In particular, she works towards understanding sex-specific age-related decline that contributes to greater loss of functional abilities in women with age. In her position as Associate Chair for NSERC's Westcoast Women in Engineering, Science and Technology (WWEST) and through the integrative STEM Team Advancing networks of Diversity (iSTAND) Program, she is committed to increasing diversity across science, technology, engineering, and math through providing mentorship and opportunity to encourage, explore, understand, and empower change for under-represented persons.

Christina Tessier was appointed to the position of President and CEO of Ingenium, Canada's Museums of Science and Innovation, in June 2018. Prior to her appointment, Christina served since 2014 as Director General of the Canada Science and Technology Museum, where she led the fast-tracked renewal of the exhibition galleries and visitor experience elements for the Museum, which reopened in November 2017. Prior to her role as Director General, Christina was Director of Operations at Ingenium's Canada Aviation and Space Museum. 

Christina has worked in the cultural field for close to 18 years at various institutions, including the Portrait Gallery of Canada, Parks Canada, where her work focused on National Historic Sites, and at Ottawa's Bytown Museum. Christina is an active member of her community and currently sits on the Algonquin College Foundation Board. She has also served on a number of committees and juries for the Canadian Museums Association, Ontario Museum Association, and the City of Ottawa. She was President of the Council of Heritage Organizations in Ottawa and the founding Chair of the Ottawa Museum Network. 

Christina is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, with a degree in Classical Studies, and she also holds a diploma in Applied Museum Studies from Algonquin College.
