YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS

Year‑round soccer and basketball programs further support long‑term athlete development through structured training in a university environment, giving students from SD41 opportunities to earn secondary school academic and elective requirements.

YEAR-ROUND

SPORT CLINICS

SFU delivers a wide range of athletic development opportunities for athletes 12-18 years old, including ID camps and high‑performance clinics that mirror university‑level sessions with targeted coaching in scoring, playmaking and position‑specific techniques.

Fall 2026 Sport Clinics & ID Camps will be shared late summer.

SFU Basketball Year-Round Program

SFU Basketball Year-Round Program students from SD41 have the opportunity to earn secondary school academic and elective requirements while playing a sport they love! The SFU Basketball Year-Round Program will work to develop the fundamentals of the game. Technical focuses will include and not be limited to: passing, ball control, dribbling, shooting, and individual and collective defending. We will look at positional play and responsibilities, set plays, restarts, and participate in intra-squad games, coming away with a better understanding of different systems of play.
