Clan Junior (5 - 8 years)

Spring Break Clan Junior experience a variety of themed activities including recreational, creative and active games. Includes one field trip per week.

Golf Camps (4 - 15 years)

These camps are being run in partnership with Eaglequest Golf.

Eaglequest Coquitlam Learning Academy is a great place for juniors to learn the game of golf. The facility is suited for teaching, with dedicated teaching areas, a classroom, video system, short game practise area, a 9 hole (par 3) course and a Mini Putt for on-course lessons.

CPGA certified professionals are well trained to work with juniors, keeping the emphasis on fun while learning. Golfers will be grouped by age and skill level.

Lunch fees and club rentals are processed directly through Eaglequest. Please complete the Lunch and Clubs form and provide it directly to Eaglequest for processing. 

Note: Campers must bring the completed Medical Information and Release form to the first day of camp.

Leadership Camp (13 - 17 years)

Volunteer Training Camp

Built upon the three progressive levels of leadership training offered during the Summer, the Volunteer Training Camp is designed specifically for teens wanting to develop their leadership skills and apply for volunteer employment in a child or youth camp setting. 

Instruction focuses on leadership skill acquisition, utilizing theoretical and practical approaches.

Completion is highly recommended before applying for volunteer positions at SFU camps.

Note: Prior completion of Levels I, II, and III is recommended but not mandatory.

Out Trippers (8 - 12 years)

Enjoy a different field trip every day. Field trips may include: Science World, Vancouver Aquarium, 6Pack Indoor Beach, and Watermania!

Soccer Camps (5 - 14 years)

SFU Men's Soccer offers elite coaching for all camps. Divided into skill development, team building and mental training with small-sided Clan Cup games. The week's activities will culminate in Cup Finals. SFU Men's Soccer Coaches organize and supervise the instruction of each camp. *Campers are grouped by age and skill level. This is a coed camp, however, instruction is provided by the SFU Men's Soccer Team

SFU Men's Soccer Identification Camp (15+ years)

The SFU Men's Soccer Spring Identification Camp is designed to provide players with a platform to showcase themselves by going through a variety of technical exercises, small-sided games, and full-sided games. Players will receive coaching from the entire SFU Soccer staff, including head coach Clint Schneider and assistant coaches Kevin HarmseSipho Sibiya, and Tyler Baldock.

Prospects Clinic

Training sessions will incorporate challenging technical, basic tactical, physical, psychological, and professional training habits for boys 10 to 11 year olds. Sessions are developed and delivered by Kevin Harmse, assistant coach of Canada's only NCAA men's soccer program and a former 12-year professional soccer player - click here for Coach Harmse's bio.

Goalkeeper Clinic

The SFU men's soccer Goalkeeper Clinic provides an accelerated level of instruction geared towards the elite soccer goalkeeper in a professional training environment. This course will concentrate on the advanced technical aspects of handling, shot stopping, distribution, crosses, 1v1's and goalkeeper fitness. Group space will be limited to ensure quality coach to player ratios.

The camp is designed for any high school athletes interested in playing post-secondary volleyball and for players wanting to maintain their volleyball form during the spring break.

SFU Volleyball Position Specific Clinics (11-18 years)

The SFU volleyball Position Specific Small Group Training focus on improving the techniques specific to each position. The small group sessions are led by Clan head coach Gina Schmidt. Limited spots will be available on a first come, first serve basis and all clinics are opened to volleyball players in Grades 7 to 12.

Spring Youth Programs

Junior Judo (8 - 14 years)

Junior Judo is a recreational practice designed for participation from both parents and kids. The focus is to allow the children to participate in judo-based games, exercises, and activities, and to have fun while playing and learning judo. An extra more technical practice for experienced and advanced juniors is available Monday nights. If you are a returning or advanced student you can register for this invigorating practice.

Rugby (5-11 years)

SFU Rugby is proud to present mini rugby for ages 5-11.

This camp will provide an excellent opportunity to learn the skills for the next Olympic sport.  Introduce your son or daughter to the sport we've all come to love by giving them the opportunity to learn through fun and games.  Children will learn basic rugby skills including passing, kicking and running with the ball while developing their spatial awareness.  By combining skills with games of touch, kids will have the foundation necessary for later years.
