On Thursday, September 22, Computing Science faculty, staff and graduate students participated in the Annual SFU Terry Fox Walk/Run. This year, the CS team named themselves the CS Foxes in honour of Terry. There was a fine showing with 29 “foxes” running and walking the path Terry used to train for his Marathon of Hope.

Special thanks to the creativity of graduate student Mayu Ishida, who made her very own "fox" mask for the occasion, Valerie Moorman for the "fox" idea and for wearing her full "fox" stole, and Val Galat for wearing her “fox” hat. Thanks to all participants for wearing the "fox" face necklace and especially to Brad Bart for being the poster boy. And last but certainly not least, special thanks to Dana (thanks for the ice cream cake and the mascot!) and Cassandra for organizing the team this year.
