SFU has three accessible campuses in downtown Vancouver, Surrey and Burnaby. Most Continuing Studies courses are conveniently located in Vancouver and Surrey

SFU Surrey

SFU's Surrey campus, featuring state-of-the-art architecture and facilites, is part of Surrey’s Central City building, an award-winning shopping, business, and education complex. Look for the large office tower.

The campus is conveniently located at 250 – 13450 102 Avenue, next to the Surrey Central SkyTrain station.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get to SFU's Surrey campus?

SFU's Surrey campus is easily accessible by public transit or car. If you take transit to Surrey Central SkyTrain station, walk across the plaza to the Central City entrance and up the stairs to the main campus entrance.

What are the office hours?

Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are closed holidays.

Where can I park my car?

As of December 1, 2019, no visitor pay parking will be offered at Central City due to a parking expansion project. Four pay parking lots are available nearby:

  1. Surrey City Hall
  2. North Surrey Recreation Centre
  3. 10240 City Parkway
  4. 10294 City Parkway

Please note you may not park in the Central City mall parking lot (or on Levels 1 to 4) to attend an SFU event or class.

How can I find my classroom or lecture theatre?

If you are taking a course, refer to your confirmation letter for the room number. When you are on campus, consult the floor plan for room locations. You can also visit our online campus guide. The Campus Information and Security desk, which is located on the mezzanine level of the building, can help you with directions.

Is SFU's Surrey campus wheelchair-accessible?

SFU Surrey is accessible to everyone with mobility difficulties. When you enter Central City, an elevator to the right of the main SFU staircase will take you up to the Mezzanine level of the campus. The main campus elevator located between Blenz and the SFU Bookstore will give you access to all three classroom levels: three, four and five.

Where can I buy my textbooks?

Once you have registered for a course, we will notify you of any required textbooks, and you can purchase them at the SFU Bookstore.

Can I get an escort to Surrey Central SkyTrain station after an evening class or lecture?

SFU's Safe Walk Program offers an escort to Surrey Central SkyTrain station. To use this service, visit the Campus Information and Security desk located on the mezzanine level of SFU Surrey. You may also call 778-782-7070.

All SFU classrooms and labs have speed dial to Campus Security. You may also dial extension 27511 from any SFU phone.

Can I purchase lunch or dinner on campus?

SFU's Surrey campus is part of Central City, an award-winning facility that includes 130 retail shops and services, including food court options.
