Halia Valladares

As the Dean of Science and Technology at Okanagan College since 2023, Halia Valladares, PhD, contributes to fostering leadership development and advancing teaching and learning within the institution. With almost three decades of academic and professional experience, she brings a focused approach to supporting organizational growth and collaboration.

Halia’s work is rooted in leadership, research, and a commitment to excellence in higher education. Alongside her role at Okanagan College, she continues to teach business analysis and international business strategy as a sessional instructor at Simon Fraser University, blending academic rigour with practical insights.
