Creative Collective supported Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) by curating a consent playlist, made by students, staff, and faculty. Because #musicandconsent are important.
Consent Playlist
All SFU staff, students and faculty were encouraged to submit their favorite song that explicitly or implicitly talks about consent. These songs were compiled into a Spotify playlist that officially launched at the end of January to conclude with all the SAAM activities. Submissions were encouraged to highlight music from QTBIPOC (Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous and People of Color) artists.
Additionally, those who submitted song recommendations were entered for a chance to win 1 of 2 Indigo or SFU Bookstore gift cards. The prize draw winners were Gursharan Singh and Anonymous.
Creative Collective also created an art mosiac in support of SAAM. Go check it out.
Check out the playlist below:

Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)
Sexual Assault Awareness month (SAAM)'s theme was centering the voices and perspectives of Black, Indigenous, and Peoples of Colour to eliminate sexual violence and to create safer, more equitable communities.
