Communications

  • Develop concepts and content for corporate communications tools
  • Write content for website, promotional material,  press releases, social media, blogs, newsletters
  • Organize and promote internal or external events
  • Design and distribute promotional material

Marketing Communications

  • Coordinate internal and external communication projects in support of product or service marketing 
  • Develop new promotional programs; writing or designing promotional material 
  • Research competitive market dynamics 
  • Manage website and social media channels     

Media and Community Relations  

  • Organize awareness-building programs 
  • Provide outreach activities and respond to public inquiries 
  • Liaise with the media and community stakeholders      
  • Write press releases, articles and pitch stories to media

Social Media

  • Develop or enhance organization’s social media presence through platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest.
  • Create content for organization including tweets, blogs, photos, videos.

Special Events

  • Coordinate logistics and/or promotions for corporate or charity event 
  • Liaise with the media, volunteers, co-workers and event staff 
  • Solicit donations for auctions and prizes

Technical Writing

  • Writing user instructions for manuals or user interfaces within technical companies
  • Liaising with developers and other stakeholders to provide clear communications
