Our School's Co-operative Education Program combines relevant job experience with classroom studies. Students complete up to five work terms, depending on their academic program.
Our Co-op program is an optional component of the School of Computing Science curriculum in the Faculty of Applied Sciences at SFU. The Co-op program is offered to undergraduate Computing Science students studying at the Burnaby campus and is accredited by the Canadian Association for Co-operative Education.
Computing Science students interested in Co-op should review the requirements of the Co-op program and attend a Co-op Info Session to get more insights about experiential learning.
Our Co-op program offers opportunities that enhance a student's employability after graduation. We work with our students to help them prepare their job search strategy and materials, conduct professional interviews, and support the exploration and development of their career goals. Our students secure work terms across Canada and internationally in places such as the Silicon Valley, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.
If you’re ready to apply, click the button below to complete your online Co-op application. The Prospective Students section has important eligibility and program information to know before you apply.
