Amy Conroy

BIOGRAPHY

Amy Conroy completed her Ph.D. at the University of Ottawa. She also holds a master's degree focusing on Canadian health law & policy. After joining the School of Criminology as continuing teaching faculty, she completed a master's program in SFU's department of Education (M.Éd. dans curriculum et instruction). Prior to joining SFU, Amy worked in the healthcare sector as a researcher and privacy specialist.

Conroy has been the recipient of scholarship of teaching and learning grants. She is also committed to decolonizing curriculum, inclusive teaching, and academic integrity.

AREAS OF INTEREST

Social Justice; forensic technologies; privacy; health law; criminal law; legal philosophy; scholarship of teaching and learning.
