About Urban Worlds
Urban Worlds treats the city as the place where nearly every system we depend on converges: housing, transit, climate, migration, governance and culture. More than half the world now lives in urban space, so cities amplify both the problems and the possibilities of global society. SFU's newest degree is taught jointly with Arts and Social Sciences, a shared foundation year, then a choice of stream, before a final year back together on real urban problems. Graduates move into planning, transportation, sustainability, economic development and emergency management.
