This panel discussion brings together four scholars and educators from across York University to discuss the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and decolonizing, equity, diversity, and inclusion (DEDI) in current higher education teaching practices. Join us for a lively moderated discussion and Q and A.

Conversation will address how educators can best respond to AI's potential role in supporting student accessibility, in contributing to a culture of (mis)trust, and in advancing equity and inclusion in higher education. Participants can expect to hear a range of perspectives across disciplinary, scholarly, and teaching contexts, and will be invited to actively engage in asking questions and sharing their own experiences and expertise.

Our panelists are all members of Connected Minds and a York Teaching Commons Communities of Practice. We will be hearing from:
