Housed within the Department of World Languages and Literatures in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Punjabi language courses are open to students from across the university. For heritage learners, studying Punjabi can strengthen connections to family histories, cultural traditions, and community identity. For students from all backgrounds, it offers an opportunity to engage with the experiences, perspectives, and contributions of Punjabi-speaking communities in British Columbia and beyond.

Course Sponsorship – $12,000
Annual Instruction Support – $24,000 per year
Named Punjabi Language Instruction Fund – $72,000 (3 years) or $120,000 (5 years)
Endowed Course Support – $210,000-$500,000+
Professorship in Punjabi Language and Pedagogy – $3 million
