Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 3338 represents employees in clerical, support, library and technical positions. Job opportunities include Office Clerks, Administrative/Program Assistants, and Technicians.
Teaching Support Staff
Teaching Support Staff Union (TSSU) represents our non-faculty teaching support staff employed as Teaching Assistants, Tutor Markers and Sessional Instructors.
Administrative & Professional Staff
The Administrative & Professional Staff Association (APSA) represents a range of administrative and professional positions not covered by a collective agreement. Job opportunities include Administrative/Program Coordinators, Analysts, Managers and Directors.
Administrative Professional Excluded (APEX) staff members are administrative professionals that cannot be part of a bargaining unit or association due to the nature of their work.
SFU Faculty Association (SFUFA) represents a range of academic appointments covered by the SFU/SFUFA Collective Agreement. Job opportunities include Department Chairs/School Directors, tenured/tenure-track faculty, teaching faculty, practitioners, librarians, archivists and other academic staff.
Academic administrators including Dean, Associate Dean, and other Provost-level appointments cannot be part of a bargaining unit or association due to the nature of their work.
Maintenance & Trade Staff
Poly Party is made up of 8 trade unions representing the maintenance and trades staff at SFU. Job opportunities include Electricians, Mechanics, Plumbers, Painters, Labourers, Carpenters, Machinists and more.
