SPRING BREAK CAMPS
Clan Junior Camp (5-6 Years)
Spring Break Clan Junior experience a variety of themed activities including recreational, creative and active games.
Climbing Camps (9-14 Years)
The week will be an exhilarating experience filled with real climbing skills, pool time, yoga sessions, and recreational gym games!
Perfect for beginners or climbers wanting to learn something new! Participants will be taught how to belay, an important skill that requires campers to be responsible for each other’s safety.
Leadership Training Camps (12-14 Years)
VOLUNTEER TRAINING CAMP
Similar to the leadership training offered during the Summer, this designed specifically to develop their leadership skills and apply for volunteer employment in a child or youth camp setting Instruction focuses on leadership skill acquisition, utilizing theoretical and practical approaches.
Completion is highly recommended before applying for volunteer positions at SFU camps.
Note: Prior experience with our summer leadership camps is recommended but not mandatory.
Out Trippers Camp (7-12 Years)
Golf Camps (4-15 Years)
These camps are being run in partnership with Eaglequest Golf Courses.
Eaglequest Coquitlam Learning Academy is a great place for juniors to learn the game of golf. The facility is suited for teaching, with dedicated teaching areas, a classroom, video system, short game practise area, a 9 hole (par 3) course and a Mini Putt for on-course lessons.
CPGA certified professionals are well trained to work with juniors, keeping the emphasis on fun while learning. Golfers will be grouped by age and skill level.
Lunch fees and club rentals are processed directly through Eaglequest. Please complete the Lunches and Clubs Form and provide it directly to Eaglequest for processing.
Note: Campers must bring the completed Medical Information and Release Form to the first day of camp.
LITTLE EAGLES GOLF CAMP (4-6 Years)
Kids will be introduced to golf and enjoy learning basic swing fundamentals in a fun and eventful way!
JUNIOR EAGLES GOLF CAMP (7-15 Years)
The most popular and fun program at Eaglequest Golf! Our Junior Camps offer kids the chance to engage themselves with golf for a full week in morning, afternoon, or full day sessions. The emphasis of Junior Camps is on fun and games, meaning that it is a great environment to meet new friends, while learning new skills and enjoying all the things the facility has to offer. The kids will spend time on the driving range, practice greens, golf course, mini golf, foot golf course, and in the classroom increasing their golf knowledge!
JUNIOR EAGLES PERFORMANCE CAMP (11-15 Years)
The Performance Camp players will be expanding their knowledge of the golf swing and skills through the use of video, FlightScope analysis, and on-course training. Players will be spending time with both our PGA of Canada coaches and our TPI Certified Fitness Specialist acquiring and discussing skills around mental strategy, tactical management, fitness, and nutrition.
Soccer Camps (5-13 Years)
SFU Men's Soccer offers elite coaching for all camps. Divided into skill development, team building and mental training with small-sided Clan Cup games. The week's activities will culminate in Cup Finals.
Note: Campers will be grouped by age and skill level. This is a coed camp, however, instruction is organized and supervised by the SFU Men's Soccer Team.
Men's Soccer Camps (14+ Years)
IDENTIFICATION CAMP (15+ Years)
The SFU Men's Soccer Spring Identification Camp is designed to provide players with a platform to showcase themselves by going through a variety of technical exercises, small-sided games, and full-sided games. Players will receive coaching from the entire SFU Soccer staff.
The SFU men's soccer Goalkeeper Clinic provides an accelerated level of instruction geared towards the elite soccer goalkeeper in a professional training environment. This course will concentrate on the advanced technical aspects of handling, shot stopping, distribution, crosses, 1v1's and goalkeeper fitness. Group space will be limited to ensure quality coach to player ratios.
Volleyball Camps (12+ Years)
SPRING BREAK ID CAMP
The SFU Volleyball Spring Break Identification Camp is designed for any high school athletes interested in playing post-secondary volleyball and for players wanting to maintain their volleyball form during the spring break.
POSITION SPECIFIC CLINIS
The SFU volleyball Position Specific Training focus on improving the techniques specific to each position. The small group sessions are led by Clan head coach Gina Schmidt. Limited spots will be available on a first come, first serve basis and all clinics are opened to volleyball players in Grades 7 to 12.
Post-camp care is available from 3:30-5:30pm on the Burnaby Campus for parents needing a later pick-up time. We organize a variety of sports, games, and crafts for your child until you arrive for pickup.
