Synopsis

SFU and IIT Bombay are excited to be collaborating on a joint research workshop in the area of quantum science and technologies. The virtual workshop will take place in May 17-19 and bring together faculty members to share their research related to the science of engineered quantum systems and their novel technological applications (including computing, communication, simulation, sensing, etc).  The workshop aims to be a platform for faculties from both institutes to introduce their research, build connections, and find synergies for potential collaborations.  This is also an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to exchange research experience, and explore studying, exchange, and research opportunities aboard through the international partnership.

The workshop will include two Seminar Sessions (17th May 645-845pm, 19th May 730am-930am), each of which, will be a series of 15 minutes talks delivered on Zoom.  Additionally, an Interactive & Poster Session is scheduled on 18th May morning on the virtual platform Gather Town. The Interactive & Poster Session will be a chance for attendees to socialize without breaking the social-distancing rule, and for students to showcase their research results.
