Synopsis
The periodic table contains all the known elements and provides us with crucial information about those elements. However, where did all the elements come from? It turns out that this is not an easy question to answer. In this talk, I will give an overview of our current understanding of the origins of elements. We will explore how stellar fusion, supernovae, neutron star mergers and the Big Bang might contribute to the element abundance we observe.
