Synopsis
The emergence of meta-optics has created new opportunities for engineering nanophotonic structures that address key challenges in quantum photonic and optoelectronic devices. In this presentation, I will highlight my research on semiconductor metasurfaces designed to overcome the limitations of conventional portable photodetectors. I will also discuss how optical modes in semiconductor resonators can be tailored to form cavities optimized for nanowire quantum dots, achieving high Purcell enhancement while preserving a Gaussian-like emission profile for efficient photon collection.
