Synopsis
After a decade of observation, sign of anisotropy has emerged in the arrival direction of high-energy cosmic neutrinos. IceCube has identified neutrino emission from a nearby active galaxy and uncovered a subdominant neutrino emission from the Milky Way. In this talk, I will review these recent results and will discuss the emerging multimessenger picture for the origin of high-energy neutrinos. I will discuss the prospects for identifying sources of cosmic neutrinos and the new opportunities they offer to search for physics beyond the Standard Model in the neutrino sector.
