Solar Eclipse at the Trottier Observatory

The Trottier Observatory hosted a free solar eclipse watching event on April 8, 2024.

Over 200 visitors came to the Trottier Observatory in the pouring rain to learn about eclipses. Though the eclipse couldn't be seen locally due to weather conditions, the enthusiatic crowd got a chance to collect free solar eclipse glasses and watch a NASA livestream on the observatory monitor showing the views of the eclipse from several cities.
