Biography
I graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Simon Fraser University and now furthering my education by pursuing a Master of Resource & Environmental Management with thesis research focused on Tidal Energy in the Ocean Equity Lab.
Currently, I am employed at BC Hydro as a Project Manager for the Mass Residential Market (ex. Solar energy, battery storage, self-generation, heat pumps, etc.) and a former volunteer Climate Research and Policy Lead at BCCIC’s Climate Change Branch. I’ve also had the opportunity to speak on multiple climate action/youth engagement panels and attend the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2022 (COP27) in Egypt and 2023 (COP28) in Dubai as a youth delegate.
Growing up on (kayaking, paddleboarding & surfing), in (swimming), or under (scuba diving) the water along BC's coast has inspired my commitment to marine conservation and sustainable, renewable energy development and I am eager to take part in the movement to create a better Earth for future generations.
