Biography
Naomi Krogman is the Dean of the Faculty of Environment. Prior to joining SFU, she spent 22 years as an an environmental sociology professor at the University of Alberta. She also held leadership positions during her last 7 years there including Associate Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and the Director of Sustainability Scholarship and Education. Her research areas include the future of sustainability scholarship in higher education, sustainable consumption, and how to incorporate vulnerable peoples into sustainability planning. She is also interested in pursuing research on how to change humanitarian aid in light of climate-related disruptions.
