Student Membership on Senate Committees

Interested in getting involved with the campus community?  Simon Fraser University's Senate has a number of committees requiring student participation.

Committee work ranges from approving undergraduate and graduate curriculum, determining university academic priorities, developing policy on awards, scholarships and bursaries, and setting policy for the Calendar.

Some committees require members who are student Senators, while others are open to students at large.  Elections may be required if more than one person expresses interest in a position and these take place in June of each year.

Position terms run from one to three years.

If you are interested please fill in the web survey and we will get back to you. Check out details and the list of committees.
