Advising Topics

Immigration Topics

At SFU, our International Student Advisors, Immigration Specialists are all regulated and authorized to provide Canadian immigration advice to our students.

Immigration topics include study permit, visas, work permits, etc.

Non-Immigration Topics

At SFU, our International Student Advisors and International Student Experience Coordinator provide non-immigration advice to our students.

Non-immigration topics include medical insurance, SIN application, etc.

Virtual Appointment

20-minute Virtual Advising appointments are offered through Zoom in Pacific Standard Time (PST). To learn more about SFU Zoom features, tools, and privacy, please vist this webpage.

In-Person Appointment

20-minute In-Person Advising appointments are currently being offered at all three campuses, subject to advisor availability.

If you have recently completed your studies and no longer have access to Advisor Link, you can create and book an appointment via the WCOnline.

Note that an SFU ID number with valid SFU email address is required to register.
