January is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

January is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) at SFU. SAAM is hosted by the Sexual Violence Support & Prevention Office (SVSPO) in partnership with campus partners. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to in participate in SAAM in the following ways:
- Attend SAAM events throughout January from January 11-29 (see events calendar here);
- Use the SAAM Zoom background for virtual classes or meetings in January;
- Send a message of care and support to survivors through the #dearsurvivor project;
- Follow the SVSPO on Facebook or Instagram for regular SAAM updates.
