SFU Stephens Family School of Medicine

The SFU Stephens Family School of Medicine is based at the SFU Surrey campus, in the heart of B.C.’s Fraser Salish region. The first cohorts of medical students will begin their studies in the SFU Surrey Central building, the interim home of the School of Medicine. Situated alongside the Surrey Central shopping centre, the Surrey Central building allows students to learn in a space that naturally connects them with the surrounding community — an environment aligned with our focus on primary care, accessibility, and community engagement. 

The permanent campus, opening in fall 2030, will form a part of the Centre Block project, a landmark mixed-use development in Surrey City Centre, directly adjacent to SFU Surrey and the Surrey Central SkyTrain station.
