Biography

Dilky is a PhD student in the School of Interactive Arts and Technology (SIAT) at Simon Fraser University (SFU). She completed her Bachelor of Science Honours in Computer Science at the University of Colombo School of Computing, Sri Lanka. A Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) researcher and a data scientist by profession, she uses both quantitative and qualitative methods to design and evaluate interactive learning technologies in applied settings. Her doctoral research focuses on critical data literacy, investigating how young learners understand datafication through interactive simulations and classroom interventions. Drawing on her background in quantitative research, she is excited about collaborating with instructors and supporting teaching and learning inquiry across the SFU community.
